The background of the founding, working mechanism and contents of Rapid Alert System on Food and Feedstuff （RASFF） of EU were introduced. The alerts sent out by RASFF in 2004 and the information of food export from China were analyzed, and the questions of important concern for Chinese food exporters were raised.
