摘要
通过熔融法制备了PBT/PA 6共混体系。实验结果表明,PBT与PA 6的相容性较差,直接共混后其力学性能很差,而加入一种低成本的液体环氧树脂E-54作为PBT/PA 6复合体系的相容剂,力学性能明显提高。通过SEM进一步证实,环氧树脂的加入可以降低分散相粒子的大小,改善界面形态,提高共混物的相容性。
Ternary composites based on Poly(butylenes terephthalate)(PBT), PA6, and liquid epoxy resin were systematically investigated. The epoxy resin was demonstrated to be an efficient reactive compatibilizer for PBT/PA6 blends by fuctioning as a coupling agent. The epoxy resin reacts with PBT and PA6 simultaneously to produce copolymer that is highly effective in compatibilizing the PBT/PA6 blends. This epoxy E-54 compatibilizer decreases the particle sizes of dispersed phase and results in substantial improvement on mechanical properties. The correlation between the mechanical properties and morphology of the blends was discussed.
