A Cool Worldly Comment on Hanfeizi's "Poison" ——A Probe into the In-depth Relationship between Luxun and Hanfeizi

鲁迅曾明言中过韩非思想的毒,但韩非思想的具体观点并未对鲁迅发生任何影响。韩非对鲁迅的影响发生在两个层面,一是思维方式,二是文章风格。韩非思想的一个重大特点是善于洞察人心的深层动机,其文章的风格特点是雄辩犀利,这两个方面对鲁迅都有潜在的影响。

Lunxun once said openly that he had been “poisoned” by Hanfeizi＇s ideology. However we cannot trace any effect on Lunxun by Hanfeizi＇s specific perspectives. The latter＇s influence on the former mainly focuses on two aspects： mode of thinking and writing style. An important point of Hanfeizi＇s ideology is his keen insight into human＇s in-depth motive, and his writing style is extremely eloquent and incisive. Both produce some latent effect on Luxun.
