民族区域自治作为我党解决民族问题的基本制度,它在西藏的建立与实践,不仅巩固和发展了“平等、团结、互助”的社会主义民族关系,而且促进了西藏经济、文化等事业的全面繁荣进步。四十年的实践证明,这一制度既符合中国的国情,也符合西藏的区情。

As the basic system of solving problems of minority nationalities, the regional autonomy of minority nationalities not only has consolidated and developed the socialistic relationship： equality, unification, and cooperation but also has accelerated the prosperous development of economy, culture and other fields of Tibet. The 40 years of implementation of the system has approved that it fits the situation of China and it also corresponds well to the situation of Tibet.
