The Tradition of Verificational Rationalism in Economics

通过对经济学的证实理性主义传统的历史回顾,并对经济学证实理性主义传统所引发的演绎主义与归纳主义、实证与规范的经济学方法论之争作了经济哲学评论,指出主流经济学在发展过程中不仅一直轻视归纳推理思维方式,而且还通过在经济学研究中渗透演绎主义和实证主义方法从而力图把经济学打造成纯粹的实证科学,这致使经济学理论虽然在逻辑结构上日趋精致,但距离一门研究人类行为的真实世界里的经济学却越来越远。

The article briefly reviews the tradition of verification rationalism in economics, and comments on the disputing about the deduction and induction, the positive and normative methodology of economics, which have been initiated by the tradition of verification rationalism in economics. It points out that the mainstream economics not only despised the thought of induction and inference all along in the development of the mainstream economics, but made economics into a pure empirical science, which made the theory of economics more delicate in logic framework and far from the economics of real world.
