许铣教授认为,斑块状银屑病病机是血瘀风燥,气血运行失畅,以致经脉阻滞,气血瘀结,肌肤失养。治宜凉血活血,解毒搜风,自拟经验方丹蛇解毒汤(由丹参、乌梢蛇、赤芍、白芍、土茯苓、草河车、郁金、石斛、白花蛇舌草、苍术、茯苓、甘草组成)治疗,疗效确切。

Prof. XU considered that the pathogenesis of plaque like psoriasis is blood- stasis, wind- dryness and unsmooth flow of qi and blood, leading to obstruction of channel and stagnation of qi and blood with malnutrition of skin. The therapeutical principle of cooling blood activating blood circulation removing toxic substance and expelling pathogenic wind should be applied.
