摘要
芜湖市圈存明清城廓内的徽派古民居,恢复历史遗迹,建设芜湖古城。在古城的东北角完整保留着一座古监狱,为清光绪三十一年(1905年)芜湖关道童德璋在原芜湖官牢上扩建为模范监狱,保存至今是芜湖市域规模最为宏大、形貌最为完整、特色最为鲜明的历史建筑。
Wuhu city government is going to rebuild the former town including the civil house that was constructed from Ming Dynasty to Qing dynasty and historic site, in the north-east of the former town, there is an old jail built by the former chief named Tong De-zhang originally in 1905, it was used by KMT local government, and to be the first prison for Anhui province aider the Liberation, later for young criminals, till 1970s. It＇s the largest dimension classical style and lively character in Wuhu domain, it can be used as Anhui （East China） prison museum.
