摘要
为了提高跟踪和数据中继卫星系统的传输容量,采用ITU推荐的Ka波段为星间微波链路的通信波段,跟踪和数据中继卫星之间采用激光链路。设计采用了激光链路透明传输微波信号的调制技术,包括直接微波信号调制和微波信号变频调制两种方案。通过分析和计算,得到了Ka波段微波光调制器的主要技术参数,论证了宽带LiNbO3行波调制器用于该系统的可行性,并讨论了两种方案的优缺点。
In order to improve transmission capacity of TDRSS, microwave link is used to Ka band, and laser link is used among TDRSS, according to ITU proposal. The modulation technology of transparence transmitting microwave signal over laser link is designed in the paper, including direct modulation and microwave frequency conversion modulation. Through analysis and computing, primary parameters of Ka band microwave optical modulator can be got. The feasibility of this scheme using travelling wave LiNbO3 modulator of broad band is demonstrated. Besides, advantages and disadvantages of the two schemes are discussed respectively.
