《雪夜林边停》是弗罗斯特最闻名的诗作之一。该诗受到国内学者关注已经由来已久,单是它的题目“StoppingbyWoodsonaSnowyEvening”的翻译就有20余种。这种现象既可以说是我国外国文学研究的成功之处,也可以反映出国内外语界学者间交流的匮乏。

The poem ＂Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening＂ has been universally held as one of Frost＇s most well -know poems. It has been finely reviewed and its title has been rendered into Chinese in various modes. This is a laudable phenomenon, for it marks the achievement made in the field of foreign literature study over China, however, it is as well a sign of the lack of communication among scholars within the country.
