北京市城区老年人口医疗费用支付能力研究

The Ability to Pay for Health Care by the Elderly in a District of Beijing

利用2000年4—5月份北京市某城区健康与卫生服务利用调查资料,对其中1831名60岁及以上老年人口的数据进行了分析在利用扩展线性支出系统模型对老年人口家庭消费结构和基本需求进行分析的基础上,采用机会成本理论界定老年人口医疗费用的支付能力,并进一步分析了不同支付能力老年人口的人口社会学特征、健康状况及其对医疗服务的利用情况。结果表明:有相当比例的老年人对医疗费用的支付能力较差,影响到他们对医疗服务的利用改善老年人口的健康状况。

The data is form the health care survey in a district of Beijing in 2000.We analyzed the data form 1 831 old people with 60 and over.Based on the analysis of househole expenditure strcture and basic demands using the Expand Linear Expenditure System （ELES）, we edfined the ability to pay for health care by the elderly according to thd opportunity cost of health care utilization for the elderly.The results show that a significant proportion of the elderly has low ability to pay for health care.It impacted directly on utilization of basic heahhcare.We proposed some appropriate mesaures to imporve the ability to pay for health care the elderly.
