目前诸多流行的数据库原理教材中对多值依赖问题的讨论均显得不够充分,对此,本文从两个方面进行了有针对性的探讨。首先对多值依赖两种定义的等价性进行了证明;其次也给出了几个重要结论的有效证明方法。

In current textbooks about principles of database system, discussion of MVD is not efficient. This aticle discusses this problem in two respects, one of which proves the equivalence relation of the two definitions of multivalued dependency and the other gives efficient methods to prove some important conclusions.
