This paper discusses how to cultivate English majors＇ competence of thinking through comprehensive English teaching. It analyzes the factors consisting of a person＇s way of thinking and their mutual relationship. It further expounds the way of cultivating students＇ way of thinking from the aspects of cultivating students＇ form logic way of thinking, dialectical logic way of thinking and creative way of thinking through comprehensive English teaching.
