珠江磨刀门口门治理开发工程效益显著

磨刀门是珠江流域八大出海口门之一，排洪量占西江来水量的１／３左右，由于口门开阔，流速缓慢，大量泥沙向海外推移淤积，使河口每年向外海延伸１００ｍ左右，河口平均每年淤高３．３９ｃｍ，使三角洲附近地区的防洪、排涝、灌溉、航运和环保等条件日益恶化。经科学的规划设计，采用治理工程与地方围垦相结合的方法，实行正确的施工策略，加速了口门的治理开发工程的实施，效益显著，不仅治理了河口，对泄洪、防潮、防台风、改善水质、改善农田排灌、改善航运，对环保也带来良好的效益。尤其拓展了大面积的国土，为珠海市经济特区的经济建设提供了物质基础。

Modaomen outlet is one of eight outlets of Pearl River estuary with a flood carrying capacity about a third of the inflow of west river. As a result of wide in outlet and slow in flow velocity, there are such a lot of sediment settled and moved seaward, the estuary had been extended seaward about 100 meters and estuary bed accretion about 3. 39 centimeters every year, situation of flooding and waterlogging protection, navigation and environmental quality of Pearl River Delta was becoming worse and worse. By means of elaborated planning design and model test,using the method of training combined with local polder project, realizing of correct construction strategies, the implementation of training and development project of estuary outlet had been accelerated and got a significant benefit.Not only the estuary was improved, but also the flood-relief, flood control, anti-typhoon, water quality, drainage and irrigation of agricultural land, navigation and environmental quality were improved. Especially, the reclamation of a large area of country land provides the material foundation of economic construction of Zhuhai special economic developing zone.
