Adequate comparison and introduction is made on the structure and moving mechanism of typical gates applied in water and power works such as curve pedestal gate, fix double-supporting point gate and fix wheel link involute gate. A detailed introduction is made on the design and calculation of fix wheel link involute gate combined with real engineering practice.
