摘要
本文重点介绍了一种新型挤压铸造工艺。用该工艺进行镁合金摩托车轮毂的生产实践表明:和传统轮毂铸造工艺相比,新工艺具有收得率高、生产效率高、工艺成本较低的特性,而且铸件内部致密、表面质量良好、本体力学性能优良。生产的轮毂产品减重30%并通过了权威机构的检测和道路试验,体现出该新型挤压铸造技术在镁合金轮毂以及在高性能、厚壁铸件生产中具有显著的技术经济优势和广阔的应用前景。
A newly developed novel squeeze casting technique is introduced. It has been demonstrated that the technique possesses the following advantages in contrast to the traditional squeeze casting process, i.e., higher utilization ratio of poured melt, higher productivity and lower processing cost. The wheels produced possess high surface quality, high density, attractive mechanical properties and their performance passed both laboratory and road tests with a weight saving of 30%, demonstrating that the new squeeze casting has a promising commercial future for mass oroduction of hiah performance Ma castings.
