In Japan, the productionconsumption model-- “mass production, mass trash, throw-away after use” --has triggered the fast economic growth and improvement of people's living standard on one hand; While on the other hand it has wasted too much, polluted the environment and hindered the social and economic sustainable development. As such, Japan has set up a nation wide “recycling” social and economic system to recycle the waste and the discarded so that the amount of trash has been reduced to the lowest and the ecosystem has also been alleviated from contamination as much as possible. As a result, the social and economic sustainable development has been maintained properly.
