族性及族性张扬

内容提要“族性”尽管是一个外来语,人们对它有不同的理解,但它在汉语中的涵义应该是明确的,即指能够构成各种族类群体的基本要素,包括血统、语言、传统文化、祖籍地、宗教、种族等。“族性张扬”是当代世界民族现象和民族过程的基本特征,以族性为中心的阵营组合和竞争的加剧、基于族性的传统文化的着意弘扬、“政治族性化”的日渐盛行、原生族体的“碎片化”及大范围扩散等构成“族性张扬”的具体内容。“族性张扬”有着全球化的背景支撑,因而也是世界宏观民族过程的一个阶段性内容。

“Ethnicity” is an imported word with different implications, however, its Chinese meaning is explicit, i. e., the basic factors constituting various ethnic groups, such as bloodline, language, tradigional culture, native place, religion and race. “Ethnicity flush” is a fundmental feature of contemporary worldwide ethnic phenomena and process with the following aspects as its main contents： the aligning of various groups and intensifying of competition focused on “ ethnicity”, the highlighting of traditional culture based on “ ethnicity”, the growing prevalence of the “political ethnicity”, the “fragmentation” and wide spread of primitive ethnic groups. Against the background of globalization, “ethnicity flush” is a periodic content of worldwide ethnic process.
