摘要
长江靖江河段水深良好，岸坡稳定，开发利用的价值很大。特别是随着长江江阴公路桥的正式动工兴建，和规划中的新长铁路在此跨越，迎来了靖江岸线开发新的发展机遇。因此不失时机地抓紧建设设施齐全、专业配套、干支流联运的水陆转接的港口群体，形成南京以下新的铁路、公路和水运交通枢纽。
The Jing jiang reach of the Yangtze River is suitable and valuable for navigation and water transport due to favourable water depth and stable bank slope. The undergoing construction of the Jiang Yin highway bridge and the plan of a new railway (the Xin Chang railway) has offered a new opportunityfor utilizing the water transport resources. Therefore, it is urgent to plan a port group and a transport net along Jing Jiang reach. This will form a new hub of communication in the lower Yangtze River and prompt the economic development in this region.
