坎坷痛苦的经历、飘摇动荡的家庭、残酷黑暗的社会等各种合力作用下,造就路翎独具一格的死亡“风景”:路翎不仅将其众多人物安排了死亡的结局,而且工笔描绘死亡的恐怖与阴惨,不是将死亡隐藏在文本之中,而是浓墨重彩地大肆渲染,这体现出对死亡刻骨铭心的恐惧与焦虑。知死方知生,正是害怕死亡,所以才生得更为顽强,对生的渴求是以对死的诅咒的变形形式体现出来的。

This article illustrates that in Lu Ling＇ s novels the sorrowful experiences of the wandering family and the ruthless and dark society combine to build up unique “landscape” of death. The novelist not only arranges for the characters＇ deaths, but also describes the process of those deaths in minute details. These help reveal the writer＇ s heartfelt worry and fear about death, which turns out to yield a stronger longing for life, only that the latter is disguised in curses of death. The Children of the Moneybags is a typical example of such rendering by the writer.
