On Zhang Guotao's Viewpoint of Combination of Communist Party and Kuomintang

张国焘认为国共第一次合作失败的根源在于两党的党内合作方式,为此他提出了所谓国共“联合”的观点,将之理解为两党合作谋取胜利的必然的和最有效的方式。文章剖析了张国焘的国共联合论,指出其思想意识根源中关门主义和取消主义并存的状况,分析其对革命的危害。

Zhang Guotao considers that the failure of the first cooperation between the two parties directly resulted from the method taken. Thus, he puts forward the viewpoint of combination of Communist Party and Kuomintang, which is regarded as the most effective way to achieve the success. This paper analyzes and evaluates the viewpoint of combination of Communist Party and Kuomintang and points out the coexistence of closedoorism and abrogationism in his ideology and the harm to the revolution.
