优质中籼皖稻173的选育及其应用研究

Development and Utilization of Good-quality and Medium-maturing Indica Rice Variety-Wandao 173

皖稻173系安徽省农科院水稻所用自育的籼粳亚种后代中间材料M89898为母本,扬稻4号作父本,采用系谱选择法育成的优质、高产中籼水稻新品种。米质好,在12项米质检测指标中有10项达优质米二级以上标准;多年的试验、省区试和省生产试验结果表明,产量一般在8.10 t/hm2以上,与对照汕优63相当。抗逆性强,高抗白叶枯病,纹枯病轻,耐肥抗倒。适宜在安徽省沿江及其以北地区作一季中稻种植,最适播种期为5月上旬。

A new medium-rrkaturing mchca nce variety, Wandao 1/3, derived from Uae cross ot N89898/Yangttao 4, was cnaractenzed oy gooa-quauty grain, high yield, multiple resistance to diseases, suitable growth dtwation and wide adaptability. 10 of 12 standards of its grain quality index, stipulated by Ministry of Agriculture of China, reached to the in＇st or second grades respectively. In Anhui provincial regional and production trial from 2001 - 2004, it yielded over 8.10 t/hm^2 that was at the same yield level as the check variety, Shanyou 63. It was also resistant to bacteria blight and blast, and tolerant to lodging. It was suitable to be planted in the northern region of the Yangtze River in Anhui province as a medium-maturing variety in single season rice growth area.
