淮北地区稻作生产现状及发展趋势

Current Status and Developing Tendency of Rice Production in Northern Huaihe River Valley

从品种（组合）和栽培技术方面分析了淮北地区稻作生产的现状，以及进一步提高本地区水稻产量所存在的主要问题，并论述了今后稻作生产的主要发展趋势。

There is a rice growing area of more than 0. 67 million hectares in the north of Huanihe RiverValley,70%of which is covered by hybrid rice. However,the yield of rice is stagnating in recent years.The main reasons are considered as the slow displacement of varieties and the inadquate popularization ofsome high-yielding technologies. The tendency for the further development of rice production is suggestedas the increase of hybrid rice area and extension of new elite combinations,the application of good-qualityconventional medium japonica rice,and the use of new techniques in dryland seedling raising and sparseplanting,population quality culture and seedling-throwing culture.
