研究生教育的个人投资决策分析

Analysis for the individual investment decision in graduate education

文章基于公共经济学和教育经济学的相关理论与方法,对研究生教育的个人投资决策行为进行了理论分析;研究结果表明,单从个人经济收益的视角来看,个人投资研究生教育的经济边界是:研究生教育的内部收益率不小于市场利率(IRR≥r),且投资研究生教育后的个人纯收益大于等于大学毕业后直接就业的总收益(PB≥TB’);否则,个人就不会选择接受研究生教育。

This paper here, by the aid of relevant theories and methods in both of public economies and education economies, analyzes the behavior of individual investment decision in graduate education. The result indicates that, from the point of view in individual economic benefit, to invest in graduate education , the index to follow is that the value of inherent reward ratio in a individual＇ s graduate education is no less than that of market interest rate（ IRR≥ r）, and personal net benefit value in investment of graduate education is greater than that of gross income if directly employed after undergraduate graduation （PB〉≥TB）. Otherwise, the individual would not choose for graduate education.
