On Strengthening the Exploring and Using of Information Resource during the Course of Modernization

信息资源在当代社会中起着越来越重要的作用,美国、欧盟、亚洲一些国家都极尽全力加速整个信息化建设。中国同样注意到了信息资源建设在国家经济社会发展中的重要地位和作用,并对国家信息化建设和信息资源的开发利用倾注了极大的心血,取得了很大的成绩和进展,但也还存在不少问题和不足。图书馆作为知识管理和传播的专门机构,在文献信息资源管理、开发利用和传播中,应该不断探索改善信息资源服务的途径,提高服务水平,为祖国的信息化建设做出更大的贡献。

Information resource becomes more and more important in modem society, the USA. , the EEC. , and some Asian countries have all being exerting their efforts to fasten the whole informatiunizatiun construction. China has also observed the important role of information resource construction, and thrown great energy in national informationization construction and the exploring and using of information resource. We have made great progress, but problems and shortcomings also exist. As the special organization of knowledge management and spread, libraries should improve the approaches of information resource service and advance the level of service as to make more contribution in information construction of our homeland.
