Economic Reform, Integrity & Amity and Moral Construction of a Harmonious Society

文章首先探讨了经济体制改革与和谐社会的关系,从经济体制改革的要求来理解和谐社会的提出。然后从伦理学角度,探讨诚信友爱作为目标价值对和谐社会道德建设及其实践的重要意义。作者认为,诚信友爱作为和谐社会构建所要达到的道德目标,将促使和谐社会道德建设朝着这一目标而努力,从而将影响现有道德规范体系的变化。

This paper first explores the relationship between economic restructuring and “building a harmonious society”, and attempts to understand “a harmonious society” from the requirements of economic system reforms. Then it discusses the significance of “integrity and amity” as one of end - values for building a harmonious society. The author maintains that taking integrity and amity as the moral goal of building a harmonious society will promote moral development of the harmonious society towards this purpose, hence changes of current system of moral norms.
