Development of economic ideology of Indian People＇s Party from Gandhi＇s socialism to Swadeshi＇s thought to practical liberalism is closely associated with political situations. Indian People＇s Party enjoyed the voters＇ support at different stages of political development because of nationalist as well as realistic economic and social policies which reflected Indian People＇s Party＇s Political strategy for balancing the relations between religious sect and realism as a modern party with religious nationalism characteristies.
