The function and characteristics of the J2EE patterns including DAO, factory method, abstract factory and value object are explained. The design and implementation of the information management system for students and courses is introduced. The function of the J2EE patterns in the concrete implementation process is illustrated in terms of the system design framework and class diagram. Finally the advantages and disadvantages are pointed out.
