Comprehensive Appraisal of Social Economic Development Level of Central Cities

中心城市是带动周边地区经济发展的重要动力,在我国经济发展进程中,各个中心城市一直是该地区社会经济发展的“引路者”。分析评价全国35个中心城市社会经济发展水平,对城市自身的发展和带动周边地区的进步,具有十分重要的意义。应用因子分析和聚类分析方法,选取反映城市社会经济发展水平的16个指标作为原始变量,分析评价全国35个中心城市的社会经济发展水平。

Central cities are generally viewed as the major driving force to promote the driving adjacent regional economy.In China＇s economic development, each central city act as fire “leader” of social economic development of this region. It is very important too analyze and appraise the social economic development level of 35 central cities all over the country. With factor analysis method, the paper samples 16 indexes as primitive variables, reflecting the social economic development level of city, to analyze and appraise their social economic development level.
