This paper investigated evaluation methods for sensitive data inference risks based on rough set theory in secure databases. Rough set theory can be used to find inherent rules under relations, and evaluate inference risks that sensitive data confronted based on these inference rules. If inference disks were greater than a threshold, then security levels for part or all attribute values in the tuple that sensitive data belonged to would be raised, so sensitive data in the resulting databases were inference-free.
