The test of tripping characteristics for low voltage circuit breakers has long been concerned by the manufactories and the quality monitoring departments. The general test method, existing problem and its causes were analyzed, and a new test program was proposed. The developed equipment have advantages of ensuring sinusold output current, using microcomputer test technology with correct and reliable results, adopting the limited circuit breaker to obtain correct and reliable data. This elaborate test equipment was available for users.
