Doing for the True,Behaving for the Good and Living for the Beautiful——a Study on the True-Good-Beautiful Education

真善美教育属于第二个层次的关于精神、灵魂、生命的教育,是中外教育理想家们的追求。美是事物展现出来的生命力。真确定事物的本质,善规定事物存在的价值与意义、方向,美表达事物存在的方式与状态。人的真、善、美统一于人的生命活动之中,这是一个历史的过程。真善美教育的含义是:做事求真,做人求善,人生求美,其最终目的是帮助人进入真善美的人生境界。真善美教育的实施有两条途径。

The True - good- beautiful Education （The TGB Education） is the second level of education concerning spirit, soul and life, which is what the educational idealists are seeking after both at home and abroad. Trueness makes clear the essence of things; goodness defines the value, meaning and orientation of things＇ existence; beauty expresses the way and state of things＇ existence. It is a historical process for people to realize the unification of truth, goodness and beauty in the life activities. The meaning of the TGB Education is doing for the true, behaving for the good and living for the beautiful with helping people enter the realm of truth, kindness and beauty as its ultimate goal. There are two ways to carry out the TGB Education.
