胡庚申教授新著《翻译适应选择论》以达尔文“适应/选择”说为理论支撑,选取“译者为中心”的基本视角,提出了“翻译即适应与选择”的基本理念,对翻译理论的宏观问题作出了原创性探索。该理论的构建将为中国译坛、特别是为翻译理论研究带来一股新风。

This article reviews the monograph by Hu Gengshen on his theoretical tramework of Translation as ADaptation and Selection.The theory, which is propped by adopting the Darwinian principle of Natural Selection, and also translator-based, is taken as an original exploration into macro translational issues. It is expected that the new approach would make a notable impact on theoretical studies in the translation circle in China.
