On the Tasks in Ancient-book Program and Cultivation of the Qualified Staff

图书馆古籍工作业已取得了有目共睹的成就,可是仍然存在着许多亟待完成的任务。要完成这些任务,图 书馆需要有较高水平的古籍工作者。文章就图书馆古籍工作亟待完成的任务、完成这一任务的工作人员所必须具备的素质 以及如何达到这一素质这三个方面提出了自己的看法。

While great achievements have been made in the field of ancient-book program, there still exist many urgent tasks to deal with. Therefore, well-educated staff are in great need. This paper tries to present my own viewpoints on what the tasks are, what qualities the staff should have and how to cultivate these qualities mentioned above.
