It is a very important strategic guiding thought to advocate the democratization of international relations (IR) at China's present foreign relations. The thoughts of democratization of IR not only come down in one continuous line with anti-hegemonism, but also has generality in essence and connection in logic with Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence. At present, with the rapid development of multi-polarization and economic globalization, we take possession of a favorable international atmosphere. Advocating and driving the democratization of IR can help safeguard the world peace and bring about advance. It can help China to be geared to the needs of the world and cooperate with others in the international community. It can also help China to play its role in the international affairs, strive for the most to promote and set up new international order.
