In the Chinese modern literature, XU Xu is a writer having a unique style. His specialty lies in the special color and romantic sentiment of his novels and his position that outside the mainstream. This paper mainly sets out from XU Xu, his experience and novels; and then we try to understand this anchorless fetch, his loneliness and novels, as well as the influence of his loneliness on his mental motion and stories
