ISOLATION OF HUMAN HERPESVIRUS TYPE 6 FROM ORGAN TRANSPLANT RECIPIENTS

从３１例器官移植受者外周血单个核细胞（ＰＢＭＣｓ）中分离人类疤疹病毒６型（ＨＨＶ－６）。结果显示：１０例移植受者病毒分离阳性，９例经单克隆抗体鉴定证实为ＨＨＶ－６。

he authors isolated human herpesvirus 6(HHV-5)from 31 cases of organ transplant recipi-ents by lymphocyte co-culture. The isolates were identified by immunofluorescent assay. Cyto-pathic effect (CPE)were observed in 10 among 31 recipients,and 9 out of 10 recipients who wereCPE positive have been identified by McAb(and HHV 6 early antigen lgG). The study indicatesthat HHV-6 infection can be detected in recipients,the incidence of its virusemia is about 29%;the detection of HHV-6 by McAb or positive serum is an available method.
