简论老舍的文化气质

老舍,以其幽默诙谐却又不乏庄重谨严的文笔,感染并影响着他的读者。其本人则将多种文化——满汉文化、“五四”新文化以及西方文化融于一身。多种文化的碰撞,形成了老舍独特的文化气质。也正是这独特的文化气质,使他将对文化的思考贯穿其一生,构成了其文学世界的重要思想支点,显示出深厚的文化内蕴。所以,在老舍构建的文学世界里,他从文化层去观察描写人物、探讨民族命运,自觉地指向“文化改造”的预定主题,并由此形成他大部分作品的统一。文化批判的思维路线和呈现于作品中作者的情感判断、价值判断的矛盾,极大地丰富了老舍作品的文化蕴涵。而老舍独特的文化气质也引起了文学界的广泛关注,值得探讨。

The fact that so many kinds of culture concentrated on Lao She makes him to be a man with a unique culture temperament. And his unique culture temperament also makes Lao She penetrates his deep thoughts on culture all his life and his literary world display deep meaning. In his literary world, he observed, depicted character from culture and explored ethical fate. And he self-consciously directed towards the topic of cultural reconstruction. It makes his most works unify. The thinking way of cultural criticism and the contradiction of emotional and value judgement of the author in the works enrich cultural connotation of Lao She＇s works. Also the unique culture temperament causes extensive attention. It is worth deliberating.
