Thermal Stress of Iron Castings

对铸铁件的应力产生作了简要分析，指出热应力是铸造残余应力的主体；对有关热应力的实际测定方法作了综述性讨论；还就工艺因素对残余应力的影响作了分析，建议在铸造工艺设计中增添关于低应力设计准则的内容。

The developing procedure of stress of iron castings is briefty analyzed. The result shows that the thermal stress is the main part of the residual stress of castings. The measuring methods and the theoretical calculation of thermal stress are compared. It is proposed that the effects of technological factors on the residual stress are necessary for technological design of castings.
