Significance of Utilization and Development of the Canadian Government Publications

介绍加拿大政府出版物的独特性和重要性。针对我国对加拿大政府出版物重视不够、收藏不足的现状,提出要从提高认识、开发网络资源、拓宽馆藏资源、深化读者服务等四方面着手,更好地开发利用加拿大政府出版物中有价值的文献资料,为我国社会主义建设服务。

This paper introduces the features and uniqueness of the Canadian government publications （CGP）. Owing to an inadequate collection for CGP in China, the paper gives four suggestions on the utilization of CGP in China from the significance of CGP, development of internet resources, enlargement of library collections and service improvement for library users in order to meet the need of the socialism construction.
