The comparison between Taiwan＇ s investment condition in ASEAN countries and in China Mainland shows that Taiwan＇ s investments in ASEAN countries and in China Mainland have experienced the ＂same-total-sum- game＂ and that both have their own strengths and weaknesses. There are many reasons for this phenomenon. As a whole, investment environment of China Mainland is a little better than that of ASEAN countries. To attract more funds from Taiwan, China Mainland needs to further improve its investment environent and policies.
