用西藏ASγ实验三期数据寻找TeV能区的γ暴 被引量:1

Search for TeV Gamma-Ray Bursts using Tibet-III Air Shower Array Data

摘要 利用西藏羊八井广延大气簇射三期阵列的重建数据,对TeV能区γ暴进行了全天区独立寻找.分析了约14.5亿个事例,找出了在给定的小天区和时间间隔内出现的事例团,并采用'等天顶角方法'估计背景.发现少量事例团对背景有明显超出,但考虑到试验次数巨大,因此还不足以认定为γ暴.通过Monte Carlo模拟,给出了在95%置信水平下流强上限的估计值为10-9~10-7光子/(cm2*s). A search for TeV gamna-ray bursts (GRBs) was carried out by using the data of Tibet-Ⅲ air shower array. About 1.45 billion events were analyzed. A GRB candidate was chosen as a shower cluster appearing in a given small sky bin and a given time interval. The method of equi-zenith angle was used to estimate the background. No significant TeV GRBs were detected. The flux upper limit at a 95% confidence level was estimated to be about 10 ^-9 - 10^-7 photons/( cm^2· s) by the Monte Carlo simulation.
