A Contrastive Study on Fuzzy Language Translation from a Cultural Perspective

翻译的核心是语言活动,但更应是一种社会行为,一种不铜民族之间的文化交流和传通。文化是语言活动的大环境,而语言又通过多种多样的表达方式折射文化,模糊语言乃其中一种。它是语言表达的实际需要,也是提升语言表达层次和效果的必要手段。不同译者对模糊语言不同的英译处理,反映了不同文化因素对译文的影响。

The core of translation is the language behaviour, rather a social behaviour, a behaviour of cultural exchanges between different nations. Culture sets up large-sized environment for language behaviour, and language, meanwhile, reflects culture by means of miscellaneous ways of expression among which there is the fuzzy language. The different manners, however, of translating the fuzzy language into English basically demonstrate the different cultural influence on the translators.
