摘要
对苦难人生经历的深刻体验在很大程度上确定了作为一个诗人的济慈之道德观念的基本态势。从伦理道德的角度加以考察,济慈的诗歌具有浓烈的功利主义色彩:在诗歌本质观念上,济慈提出并倡导一种具有个性特征的“真”与“美”以及“善”,并对三者之间的关系有着辩证的认识;同时,在诗歌的主体与客体上,对作为创作主体的诗人之修养和作为创作客体的诗歌之品格有着非常严格的要求。在济慈的道德思想体系中,功利主义构成了其诗歌道德观念的表征,而他对真、美、善的追求则形成了其诗歌道德世界的底蕴。
The hardships in John Keats’ life to a large extent determine the basic elements of his moral consciousness. Keats’ poetry is apparently imbued with utilitarianism. However, he advocates ″truth″, ″good″ and ″beauty″ in terms of the nature of poetry. In the meantime, he also has high requirements in terms of the personality of a poet and the quality of poetry. Therefore, it can be concluded that utilitarianism is the surface characteristic of his moral system, and his pursuit of ″truth″, ″good″ and ″beauty″ constitutes the core.
