摘要
研制了一套以塑料闪烁体作为探测器,用以检测行人携带特种核材料的检测装置。在本底为2.58×10-9C.kg-1.h-1、人的行走速度小于1.2 m/s时,对高浓铀的检测质量下限为2 g,低燃耗钚的下限为0.06 g;在本底为5.16×10-9C.kg-1.h-1、人的行走速度小于1.2 m/s时,对高浓铀的检测质量下限为3 g,低燃耗钚的下限为0.08 g。该装置误报率小于1/3 000。
A pedestrian portal monitor using plastic scintillation as detector for special nuclear material(SNM) is developed. At 2.58× 10×-9C·kg^-1·h^-1 of background and less than 1. 2 m/s of pedestrian speed, the sensitivity is 2 g and 0. 06 g for high enrichment uranium and low-burnup plutonium respectively; at 5.16×10^-9CC·kg^-1·h^-1 of background and less than 1.2 m/s of pedestrian speed, the sensitivity is 3 g and 0.08 g for high enrichment uranium and low-burnup plutonium respectively. The false alarm probability is less than 1/3 000.
