摘要
低电压大电流开关电源大多采用基于同步整流的Buck拓扑,而随着输出电流的不断提高,同步整流管中体二极管的导通损耗和反向恢复损耗越来越成为提高效率的瓶颈。为了减小这些损耗,本文介绍的这种输入电压为12V,输出电压为1.5V,输出电流为20A的开关电源采用了TI公司的TPS40071型PWM控制器,它使用了新的驱动逻辑控制方法,模块满载时的效率提高了一个百分点。
Most of low-voltage and high-current converters are based on synchronous Buck topology.As the improvement of the load current,the conduction loss and reverse recovery loss of synchronous rectifier's body-diode becomes more prominent.In order to reduce these losses, a 12V input, 1.5V 20A output Buck converter utilizing TPS40071 which employs a novel MOSFET driving scheme is introduced in this article.The efficiency is improved by 1 percent at full load point.
