Traumatic Rupture of Esophagus

报告创伤性食管破裂6例。胸部食管破裂的症状较颈部食管破裂凶险,且死亡率高。作者强调食管破裂早期发现和及时手术修补的重要性:指出了手术修补破裂食管的要点。

Six cases of traumatic rupture of esophagus are reported. The symptoms of esophageal rupture in the chest are more serious and, with a higber mortality than those in the neck, The importance of early recognition and surgical repair of esophageal rupture are emphasized. In this series, two patients treated with surgical repair within 24 hours after injury cured, while the other two patients with the conservative treatment died of infection and consumptive failure because of delayed diagnosis. The main points of surgical repair of the ruptured esophagus are discussed.
