摘要
介绍了2种基于信号相位匹配原理(SPM P)的波达方向估计准则——基于能量准则和基于矩阵范数准则。以奇异值分解和矩阵理论为基础,详细分析了两个准则的差异和联系,指出基于矩阵范数准则比基于能量准则具有更好的鲁棒性。同时证明了基于矩阵范数准则和互谱法估计方位之间存在等价关系,分析了矩阵范数准则具有更尖锐空间指向性的原因。计算机仿真结果与理论分析相一致。
Our research group has had a number of papers published on a new SPMP (Signal Phase Matching Principle) method for estimating the DOA (Direction of Arriving) of source in array signal processing. Our aim now is to compare two well known criteria——energy and matrix norm to see which is better in performance analysis of DOA estimation based on SPMP. We use SVD (Singular Value Decomposition) to analyze their performance. Computer simulation shows that, in performance analysis of DOA estimation based on SPMP, the matrix norm criterion is better than energy criterion. Matrix norm criterion is better in two aspects: (1) using energy criterion generates pseudo peaks but using matrix norm criterion does not generate such peaks; (2) for the same signal-to-noise ratio such as 0 dB, the estimation variance using matrix norm criterion is sometimes only one tenth that using energy criterion.
