预涂纸的吸水性能对涂布纸性能的影响

Effect of Water Absorbency of Precoated Paper on the Forming of Top Coating Structure

通过变化预涂配方的颜料组合和胶粘剂体系,考察了预涂纸对成纸物理性能的影响。采用超声波动态渗透、AA-GWR保水和表面吸收重量法研究了预涂纸与水及涂料间的相互作用。结果显示,预涂纸的吸水性对涂布纸性能有重要影响,总的趋势是随着预涂纸吸水性的降低,面涂纸平滑度、光泽度、印刷光泽度增加,印刷表面粗糙度、可压缩性、油墨吸收性降低,但这种影响的差异性在压光后明显减小。

In this work, the effect of performance of precoated paper on physical properties of the finished products was studied by＂ changing precoating formula, namely pigments combination and binder system. The interactions of water-precoated paper and coating-precoated paper were analyzed by using three methods, which were ultrasound dynamic penetration, AA-GWR water retention and Cobb test.The results showed that the water absorbency of precoated paper had important effect on the properties of the finished paper.The general trend was that on the basis of precoateel paper;the increments of smoothness, gloss and print gloss of the top coated paper increased with the decrease of water absorbency of precoated paper. In addition, PPS, condensability and ink absorption reduced when the water absorbency of precoated paper decreased. However, the effects were weakened after calendering.
