公共英语教学的专业化与专业英语教学的公共化——我国高校英语教学改革的必由之路

The specialization of Public English Teaching and the Publicness of Teaching--The Road that We Must Follow to the Reformation of College English Teaching

本文在揭示了目前我国高校英语教学面临的五大挑战和危机之后,指出:公共英语教学的专业化与专业英语教学的公共化是当前我国高校英语教学改革的必由之路.为了实现这一改革目标,我们就应该重新认识语言本体,从语言工具论走向语言存在论,并且更新语言教学的理念,不再以单一的知识传授为目的,而是要以知识传授、兴趣激发与问题思考三个相互依存的方面为目的.

This paper reveals the five challenges and crises that our college English teaching currently faces and points out the specialization of public English teaching and the pubhcness of specialist English teaching is the wad that we must folow to the reformation of colege English teaching. In order to achieve this goal, we should re-understand language noumenon, from ontology to organon, and renovate our idea of language teaching. We shall no longer aim at pure knowledge instruction, but work towards the interdependence of knowledge teaching, interest motivating and question thinking.
