A Dual-wavelength FBG Based on Photosensitivity and Its Application

摘要 提出了一种基于光纤光敏性制作双波长布喇格光栅的新方法。采用移动曝光技术,通过调节光栅长度及曝光次数可以控制两个布喇格波长的间隔和反射率;写制了一个双波长光栅,两个透射峰均为20.25 dB,两个布喇格波长的间隔为0.8 nm;利用这个光栅制作了一个双通道的光分插复用器(OADM)。 A novel dual-wavelength fiber Bragg grating (FBG) fabricated by using photosensitivity is experimentally demonstrated. The reflectivity and the separation of the two Bragg wavelengths are controlled by using moving-exposure technique. A grating with two-equal transmission peak of 20. 25 dB is obtained by using this method and the separation of the two Bragg wavelengths is about 0.8 nm. With the grating, an optical add/drop multiplexer (OADM) that allows dropping two fixed wavelength channels is proposed.
